My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were a bit cold, but they had everything I needed for my short stay in Edinburgh. The service was excellent overall, with a few hiccups in the bar. The location was ideal for exploring both the old and new town, despite some quirky surroundings. The dining options left something to be desired, but the homemade cakes were a highlight.

The hotel's rooms were spacious for a family of four with two double beds, but they felt a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. Despite our requests, the room wasn't cleaned on one of our days, which was disappointing.
